Woodside CEO optimistic of Timor gas breakthrough

Woodside Energy CEO Meg O’Neill is optimistic the visit by Foreign Minister Penny Wong to Timor-Leste this week will drive a breakthrough in negotiations on terms for the development of the Sunrise gas field in the Timor Sea.
Ms O’Neill has been calling for serious consideration to be given to kick-start the Sunrise mega-project which would help meet demand for new sources of gas to replace Russian supplies.
