Why the real money is in lithium recycling, not mining
Chris Reed made a very early investment in lithium close to his home town of Kalgoorlie, after a chance encounter in Düsseldorf with “two old cats”.
One of those old guys was the head of R&D at Daimler, and he advised Reed to “get into lithium”. Reed’s punt paid off. “We made just under a quarter of a billion off a couple of a million dollar investment.”
