Sun Cable was a colossus that collapsed under its own weight

It wasn’t just the giant egos in the power project. It was economics, engineering and physics too gigantic to stack up. 

It’s doubtful the $35 billion Sun Cable project went into voluntary administration because of a disagreement between its billionaire backers. It failed because it was always going to fail.
