Sojitz joins CS Energy in green hydrogen supply for Palau
Japan’s Sojitz Corporation will work with Queensland’s CS Energy and Nippon Engineering Consultants in a project to transport renewable energy from the sunshine state to the island nation of Palau where it will replace carbon-intensive diesel.
Solar power generated at CS Energy’s Kogan renewable hydrogen demonstration plant near Chinchilla will be used to convert water into green hydrogen for transportation to the archipelago in Micronesia, to be used in stationary fuel cells for power generation and for hydrogen-powered vessels.
