Proxy adviser sides with Grok in AGL board battle
Proxy adviser CGI Glass Lewis has put its weight behind three of the four directors proposed by Mike Cannon-Brookes for AGL Energy, in what could be a deciding factor in whether the activist shareholder succeeds in overhauling the board of the electricity supplier.
Former Energy Security Board chairman Kerry Schott and Christine Holman, an experienced director across industrial and technology sectors, have both got a tick from the influential firm in recommendations released on Monday that directly go against those of the board led by Patricia McKenzie.
