Power bill relief from grid charges
Electricity and gas grid owners in NSW, Victoria and South Australia are offering a relief package expected to cost several hundreds of millions of dollars, targeted at small businesses and households suffering financial stress as a result of COVID-19.
The scheme, which excludes Queensland's state-owned networks, is also expected to help keep smaller electricity retailers viable through the downturn by ensuring they can better assist households facing hardship.
