PNG makes personal plea to Morrison over Horizon scandal

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has been personally asked by his Papua New Guinean counterpart, James Marape, to help investigate corruption allegations surrounding the ASX-listed Horizon Oil and William Duma, a senior minister in the Pacific nation.

Mr Duma, who denied any wrongdoing in a statement to Parliament on Wednesday, is fighting to remain in cabinet after issuing part of a lucrative petroleum licence to a shell company owned by his personal lawyer.
