Victorian Energy Minister Lily D’Ambrosio’s repeated refusal to endorse a green energy project – using brown coal to make hydrogen – risked $2.35 billion invested by the Japanese in the Latrobe Valley, industry has warned.

Ms D’Ambrosio declined to directly endorse the Hydrogen Energy Supply Chain project in parliament on Wednesday, when asked to respond to reports about government divisions over the project in The Australian Financial Review.
