InterOil extends PNG project agreements again

Aspiring Papua New Guinea liquefied natural gas producer InterOil has again extended its preliminary agreements with Mitsui and Australia’s Energy World Corporation as it seeks an international partner.

Aspiring Papua New Guinea liquefied natural gas producer InterOil has again extended its preliminary agreements with Mitsui and Australia’s Energy World Corporation as it continues its lengthy search for an international partner for the multibillion-dollar project.

The accords, with Mitsui for a gas condensates project and with Energy World for an LNG plant, are contingent on a go-ahead for the LNG project, for which InterOil has been seeking a larger partner for well over a year.
