Kerry Schott speaks truth to power, quite literally in some cases. One of the honest brokers in Australia’s continuing energy wars warned this week that the ideological “demonising” of gas by state governments is just making Australia’s transition from fossil fuels to green energy even more difficult than it already is.
The former chair of the Energy Security Board chair told The Australian Financial Review that state governments “have dropped the ball on firming capacity, because it is so politically incorrect to talk about gas”.
