The Victorian Labor government is keeping secret more than 40 documents detailing deals with AGL and EnergyAustralia to keep coal power stations operating for up to a decade, while also pledging to hit 95 per cent renewables by 2035.

Excerpts from confidential government documents confirm a secret deal to keep Victoria’s coal power stations operating, but the Allan government has refused to reveal the cost despite demands in the state parliament.
