Australian honey contamination report an 'exageration'

Research warning Australian honeys are the most contaminated in the world has been debunked by local scientists, with one bee expert in particular labelling it an "exaggeration".

Alarming research published in the Food Additives and Contaminants scientific journal last week reported that 41 of 59 Australian honey samples tested were contaminated by pyrrolizidine alkaloids, which are linked to liver damage when consumed in high quantities.
