Succession drama at Elders triggers huge protest vote again

Agribusiness company Elders has been hit with a large protest vote for the second consecutive year against its pay practices and a botched CEO succession plan.

The protest vote on the company’s remuneration report at Elders’ annual meeting on Thursday was even higher this year at 67.2 per cent, topping last year’s 62.8 per cent.
