Cloud accounting software provider Xero got smacked by the market following the release of its half-year results. But CEO Steve Vamos says he has delivered what was promised - investing for growth.
As one of the fastest-growing companies on the ASX, accounting software platform Xero is every day confronting the challenge of finding people to fill positions in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The company added about 1000 full-time equivalent employees in the year to September 30. This was up 30 per cent on the previous year and included 225 people from two acquisitions – Planday and Tickstar.
