When you’re 92 years old, even the smallest changes can be meaningful, which is why the decision by Australian Foundation Investment Company to tentatively try investing in offshore markets could prove to be a major shift for our oldest and largest listed investment company.
AFIC has revealed that it has been running a model portfolio of between 40 and 50 international stocks for about 12 months, and having seen solid returns it will now put real money to work.
