WestConnex delivery not enough for Transurban top job

Andrew Head started at Transurban when it had just been released from its “single asset” status and went to Sydney to look for more. He leaves with 11 Sydney tollroads on the company’s books.

The race for the top job at Transurban Group is narrowing, with one of the top internal contenders, Andrew Head, bowing out.

Head was the executive charged with overseeing Transurban’s biggest ever move – it’s acquisition of a controlling stake in Sydney motorways company WestConnex – and then running it.
