Rebuilding battered WiseTech’s board, reputation is no small task

What’s more important? Who’s joining the global software company as a director or who’s leaving?

We constantly hear about Australia’s small, shrinking pool of directors. Well, it turns out it gets even smaller and shrinks even more when you have a rampant founder in control who was only recently found to have made inaccurate and incomplete disclosures to the board.

That’s life at Richard White’s WiseTech Global. Its board is taking shape with White, long-time executive director and co-founder Maree Isaacs, three brand-new independent directors, and a lead independent director who was formerly the company’s chairman and rejoined the board in March.
