Rebellious robots and trapped stock: Inside Myer’s warehouse woes

Olivia Wirth is making reasonable progress on her turnaround at Myer. But she’s got two problems. 

Myer executive chairwoman Olivia Wirth arrived at her first-half results presentation on Wednesday with plenty of runs on the board.

She has completed the takeover of Premier Investments’ apparel brands, including Just Jeans, Dotti, Jay Jays and Portmans, in a deal that made billionaire Solomon Lew Myer’s biggest shareholder, and gave the perennially shrinking retailer new size and scale.
