Home brands help save Coles' sale streak
Steve Cain is pushing on own-brand products to drive growth in Coles' supermarket business.
Coles Group’s lowest quarterly sales result in 12 years is actually a pretty handy result for chief executive Steve Cain.
Coles blew the competition away in the September quarter of 2018 with its famous (or infamous in my house) Little Shop promotion of miniature collectibles driving like-for-like sales growth of 5.1 per cent.
