National garbage collector Cleanaway Waste Management is making 10 per cent more for every $1 of revenue than it was a year ago – and investors can thank the jobs market.
When the jobs market and inflation were at their hottest, Cleanaway had 1000-plus job vacancies and had to come up with all sorts of schemes to try to attract and retain garbage truck drivers and depot workers.
