Curtain comes down on retail’s most dynamic duo

Over almost a decade, Solomon Lew and Mark McInnes have built one of Australia's top corporate partnerships. But all good things must end.

Solomon Lew doesn’t like being photographed on his own.

He might own 42.4 per cent of Premier Investments, and he might be intimately involved in the operations of the group’s retail chains and the management of its investments, but for most of the past decade Lew has insisted on having his picture taken standing next to Premier chief executive Mark McInnes.
