Coronavirus confusion for business

When a major national business sought direction from the government on the coronavirus it was left confused. This suggests the country's response plan needs to be updated.

Australia's coronavirus action plan needs to be upgraded judging from the confusing experiences of a leading business with a network of consumer outlets in every state.

The business contacted federal and state government officials to ask about the protocols to follow should a customer or staff member be diagnosed with the virus. The business also wanted to know about the government's preferences in relation to travel bans and staff working from home.
