Charlton wants to stay in C-suite after stellar Transurban stint

Scott Charlton has taken the toll road giant’s market value from $7 billion to $43 billion during his 11-year stint. But he’s not done with the C-suite yet.

Scott Charlton, who will leave toll road giant Transurban at the end of 2023 after 11 years at the helm, has already told his chairman Craig Drummond that he wants to be invited back for the grand opening of the troublesome Westgate Tunnel, scheduled for 2025.

But he’s stopped short of demanding the right to be the first to drive on the new road.
