Charlie Munger might have played straight man to Warren Buffett, but it was his blueprint that created a $1.2 trillion giant. His personal blueprint was just as brilliant.
Stephen O’Halloran, director of ASP Private Wealth, doesn’t hesitate to name his favourite Charlie Munger quote, “I’ve got nothing to add”.
Munger was famous for delivering the line at the Berkshire Hathaway annual general meeting after chairman Warren Buffett would refer a shareholder query to his vice chairman. Buffett would later say of his great friend’s unwillingness to take the limelight: “Sometimes he subtracts!”
