It’s hard not to end 2023 feeling a little punch drunk.
A year that started with expectations of recession in the US and a boom in China (both proved wrong) also provided us with the biggest banking crisis in generations, the biggest surge in bond yields since the GFC, war in the Middle East, and a slew of stunning corporate missteps at home.
