Goldman says ASX pullback getting more likely. It’s buying 12 stocks

Low quality and heavily shorted stocks have driven the big rally on the sharemarket since April. But one revered bank thinks investors should change tactics.

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has seemingly spent the weekend speaking to journalists. In a fascinating interview with The Financial Times, he promised that he and the rest of the Trump administration would remain laser focused on ensuring their policies don’t roil financial markets. He then told all and sundry that the US and China have a trade framework that Donald Trump and Xi Jinping can hammer out when they meet this week.
