Union leader turned KPMG partner Paul Howes will head a new customer and marketing consulting business at the big four firm, aimed at taking a bigger bite of an advisory market traditionally dominated by the advertising industry.
As part of the move, KPMG has also bought market research outfit Acuity Research and Insights for the new business, which will begin operations with a combined six partners, including Mr Howes, and 37 staff.
