Business urged to ‘fight really hard’ against IR changes
Business leaders have been urged to “fight really hard” against a looming policy agenda on industrial relations and environmental approvals, amid criticism the government talks a big game on reform but lacks ambition.
With the Albanese government working on a second tranche of IR changes – including crackdowns on labour hire and the gig economy – Business Council of Australia president Tim Reed warned members “the worst is yet to come on IR”.
