Two men in road-rage fight on Fullarton Road in Adelaide

Dashcam footage has captured a shocking fight between two men in the middle of oncoming traffic on Fullarton Road.

A heated exchange between two men driving down Fullarton Road has spilt into the street and turned into a full-blown fight.

Dashcam footage captured the fight about 4pm on Tuesday between the men as they dodged oncoming traffic, but continued to trade blows.

The incident was seemingly sparked as they drove down the road, the two men gesturing at each other through their open windows.

They veer their cars at each other before one sharply changes lanes to the right, and the other car quickly follows.

The two men then get out at the Greenhill Road intersection and begin to fight in front of oncoming traffic, seemingly oblivious to cars passing and holding up traffic.

Eventually one man gives up and gets back into his car, and the other does too.

SA Police say they are investigating.

“The incident was captured on dashcam footage by a member of the public and Eastern District patrols are investigating,” a police spokeswoman said.

“Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”

According to the RAA, nearly every one of its members have experienced road rage at least once while on the road.

The most common experience is intimidating driving or hand gestures (between eight in 10 and nine in 10), while three quarters were beeped at agressively.

More than half have been verbally abused or threatened while one in five experienced deliberate damage to their vehicle.

About 5 per cent have experienced physical violence.
