Man allegedly impersonating police officer sexually assaults women in the city
A man has been arrested for allegedly impersonating a police officer to gain access to the Adelaide homes of two women before sexually assaulting them.

A man has been arrested for allegedly posing as a police officer before sexually assaulting two women in their Adelaide homes.
Police say a man gained access to the first victim’s home about 8.30pm on Friday after purporting to be an officer.
He then allegedly sexually assaulted the woman and stole cash before fleeing.
Two hours later, police will alleged the same man attended another house in the city and again posed as an officer to gain access to another woman’s home.
She was also allegedly sexually assaulted and the man stole cash on this occasion as well.

Police investigated the attacks and arrested a 31-year-old northern suburbs man, charging him with two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of impersonating a police officer.
He was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday.
