Drivers escape fiery South Eastern Freeway truck smash with only minor injuries
Two truck drivers have walked away with only minor injuries after a truck ran into the back of another and burst into flames on the South-Eastern Freeway.

Two truckies were lucky to escape serious injury when their B-doubles collided, one bursting into flames after impact, on the South Eastern Freeway.
Despite one of the truck’s cabins being destroyed in the incident, the driver, as well as the person behind the wheel of the other B-double, miraculously walked away with only minor injuries.
The smash occurred at about 6.50am on Friday between Mount Barker and Callington.
Emergency services are at the scene.
Both city-bound lanes had been closed earlier but one has since reopened.
Motorists are being diverted through Callington, Nairne and Littlehampton.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Meanwhile, a car and a truck also collided on the freeway on Friday morning just hours after the first smash.
No-one was injured in the incident, which occurred at about 9.45am near Bridgewater on the uptrack, and traffic was not affected.
