An assailant has shot at a man from the passenger seat of a car as it drove past his house on Monday – and police have now made an arrest over the incident.

Police have arrested a 26-year-old Mount Gambier man over a drive-by shooting on Monday.
Criminal Investigation Branch detectives went to a house on Pressey St about 4pm, arrested the man and charged him with numerous offences including discharging a firearm with intent to cause injury, two counts of acts to endanger life and aggravated possession of a firearm.
Police allege that on Monday, shots were fired from the passenger seat of a car at a man outside his house on Olinda Court.
Police say two people were seen in the Holden sedan – the pair fled the area in the car after the incident, which police believe is not random.
The victim was not injured.
Police are also investigating an incident at the home about 5.30am on Sunday.
A gunshot is believed to have caused damage to the back window of a car parked in the driveway of the home.
