A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a car allegedly being driven by a disqualified driver with a child in her car.

A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a car allegedly being driven by a disqualified driver, who also had a child with her in the Adelaide Hills.
The incident happened on Mt Barker Rd at Totness about 11.15pm Monday.
The victim, 31, from Mt Barker, was rushed to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, but later succumbed to their injuries.
Police say the woman driving the car, 38, from Murray Bridge, submitted a roadside breath test but refused a further breath analysis when taken back to the police station.
They alleged the woman was disqualified from driving and had a child aged under 16 in the car at the time of the crash.
Major Crash Officers arrested the woman and charged her with aggravated causing harm by dangerous driving, failing to submit to a breath analysis, having a child present in the vehicle and driving disqualified. Her charges were upgraded to causing death by dangerous driving.
She was refused bail and appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, police are hunting a truck driver who crashed into a Stobie pole, bringing down power lines at Plympton Park.
The truck crashed on Marion Rd near Aldridge Ave about 2.30am Tuesday, but did not stop and continued driving along Marion Rd.
Police attended and found the truck abandoned on nearby Shakespeare Ave.
Patrols searched the area with the help of a Police Dog but could not locate the driver.
Marion Rd was restricted to one lane for north bound traffic between Bray Ave and Aldridge Ave on Tuesday morning while SA Power Networks were at the scene.
