A woman has been arrested after she was suspected to be smuggling drugs into Mobilong Prison in Murray Bridge.
Police said they were advised by Corrections Officers that they suspected a woman was in possession of illicit drugs at the prison on Sunday at 10am.
An investigation found the 29-year-old woman from Huntfield Heights was in possession of capsules and pills which allegedly contained the illicit drugs.
The woman was arrested and charged with introducing a prohibited item to a correctional facility and drive disqualified.
She was granted bail and is expected to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court at a later date.
Later that day, just before 2pm, police returned to the prison after reports that substances, believed to be illicit drugs and a glass pipe were located in a car.
The items were seized by police and the two women in the car, a 30-year-old from Flagstaff Hill and a 47-year-old from Aldinga Beach, were reported for drug possession.
They are due to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court at a later date.
