A woman has hit two cars in an Adelaide shopping centre, then allegedly recorded a breath test so extreme that experts say it could kill you.

A woman who allegedly collided with two parked cars in the West Lakes Shopping Centre and subsequently recorded an “extremely high breath test reading’’ of .307 has lost her licence for a year.

In a statement, SA Police said it would be alleged that on Sunday about 10.30am, officers had been called to Bartley Terrace after “reports of a Mitsubishi station wagon driving erratically’’.

“The car was then seen on West Lakes Boulevard where it entered the car park of the West Lakes Shopping Centre and collided with two parked cars’’, police said.

“Police located the driver who underwent a breath test, returning a positive reading of 0.307.’’

According to guidance published on the SA Health website: “A BAC of over 0.30g% is likely to put you in a coma or result in death.’’
