Police seize cannabis, weapons in Port Lincoln | Thousands of ecstasy pills found in major northern suburbs drug bust
Police have seized cannabis and weapons from a Port Lincoln home, while five people have been charged after large amounts of drugs and two guns were discovered in Adelaide’s north.

A West Coast man will face court on a range of drug and firearms offences after police seized cannabis and illegal weapons from his home.
On Wednesday, police searched a Richardson Rd property at Boston, near Port Lincoln, and allegedly found 17 hydroponically-grown cannabis plants, dried cannabis and an unregistered gun and crossbow.
A 51-year-old man was charged with breach of bail, possess firearm without a license, possess unregistered firearm, possess prohibited weapon, cultivate cannabis, traffic controlled drug and possess prescribed equipment.
He was refused bail and faced court on Wednesday, when he was bailed to reappear on June 20.
On Thursday, police said a variety of illicit drugs have been seized in a major drug bust driven by the Serious and Organised Crime Branch.
Detectives attended several northern suburbs homes on June 14 and 15 where they allegedly located various drugs and firearms.
The large quantity of drugs included three litres of fantasy, 80 grams of cocaine, 4300 ecstasy pills, 200 grams of cannabis, a pill press and two firearms.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Huddy, acting officer in charge of the serious and organised crime branch, said the possession of these items can “lead to catastrophic outcomes for those involved and bystanders”.
“The Serious and Organised Crime Branch will continue its relentless pursuit of individuals and groups engaging in the illegal manufacture and trafficking of controlled drugs,” he said.
A 20-year-old Elizabeth Vale man was arrested and charged with nine counts of trafficking a controlled drug, two counts of trafficking a large commercial quantity of a controlled drug, possession of a firearm and theft.
He was refused bail and appeared at the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday.
A 22-year-old man, from Angle Vale, was charged with six counts of trafficking a controlled drug and possessing a prescribed firearm, and was refused bail after appearing in court on Thursday.
A 21-year-old Angle Vale woman and a 57-year-old Point Pearce man were both charged with trafficking a controlled drug and have been granted bail to appear at the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on July 25.
A 19-year-old Underdale man has been reported for trafficking a controlled drug and will be summoned to appear in court at a later date.
