Both men were taken to the Flinders Medical Centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

On Monday, police said a 17-year-old Woodville Gardens boy, an 18-year-old Plympton Park man and an 18-year-old Mitchell Park man had been arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Residents of Pemberton St were shocked that the incident occurred on their “quiet street”.

One resident, Michael, thought the party was “just normal” until the police were on the scene.

“We heard some noises and we heard some screaming,” Michael said.

“But it’s usually what you hear when there was a party.”

The Pemberton St resident said following he feels “worried that the neighbourhood is becoming unsafe”.

Couple Gagan Sandha and Mehak were at home with their young child, unaware of the violent brawl about to unfold at the party just a few houses down.

“It was really scary when the cops knocked on our door and we had a baby sleeping,” Mehak said.

Gagan said he saw “three or four police cars” on the street following the incident which left the neighbourhood unsettled.

“It hasn’t happened before, this was the first time,” he said of the shock stabbing.

Another neighbour, Hak Khoun, said he was “surprised” the violent altercation occurred on his “quiet street”.

Police said all parties were known to each other and the incident was not random.

The 17-year-old boy was bailed to face the Adelaide Youth Court on July 26, while both 18-year-olds were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates July 6.

Anyone with information relating to the incident is urged to contact police.
