Trailer detaches from B-triple and rolls, blocking Stuart Highway
A trailer that detached from a road train and rolled, blocking a major highway in the state’s north, has been cleared.

The Stuart Highway in the state’s north has reopened after a trailer came off a truck and rolled.
Just after 6am on Friday, a trailer detached from a B-triple and rolled, blocking the highway.
The major highway was closed in both directions about 50km north of Port Augusta but has since reopened.
Police and clean up crews attended the scene with a crane to remove the trailer, which took several hours.
