Three teens – one as young as 15 – will face court after a police pursuit in the western suburbs overnight.

Police attempted to stop a Honda sedan on Murchinson St in Mansfield Park just after 8pm on Friday.

The driver allegedly refused to stop and was pursued on Regency Rd, northbound on the Expressway and onto Days Rd.

The vehicle briefly stopped on Cowan St in Angle Park where two male passengers allegedly ran from the vehicle before the driver continued and abandoned the car on Hayes Cl.

Officers chased the passengers on foot and arrested them nearby.

A 15-year-old boy from Hope Valley and a 19-year-old man from Salisbury North were charged with hindering police.

The boy was also charged with carrying an article of disguise after police allegedly located a balaclava in his possession.

The pair were refused bail to appear in court on Monday.

The 18-year-old girl from Modbury North was charged with dangerous driving to escape police pursuit and failing to stop.

She was granted bail to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court next month.

The vehicle was impounded for 28 days.
