The boyfriend of a woman shot alongside her mum at Campbelltown is helping the 22-year-old “come back stronger”, as friends share their support and a GoFundMe page is launched.

The boyfriend of a woman – who was shot alongside her mother in a callous act of violence – says she has aspirations “to fight for justice and prosecute criminals” to make the world a better place.
Corey Stevens started a GoFundMe page for his partner Daniela Vergulis, 22, says she aspirations “to fight for justice and prosecute criminals” to make the world a better place.
Mr Stevens grandmother also shared the fundraiser in support of Ms Vergulis, and said she was “devastated by the news”.
The fundraiser was created on Monday night, just two days after she and her mother Aleksandra Vergulis, 51, were ambushed by a gunman in the driveway of a Campbelltown home.
Aleksandra died from her gunshot wounds while Daniela was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious injuries.
Mr Stevens said Daniela was “fighting for her life”.

“Daniela and Aleksandra didn’t deserve this and Daniela will need the world’s support while dealing with her physical injuries (and) the loss of her mum,” he wrote.
“This was the type of criminal she spoke of wanting to prosecute to make the world a safer and better place.”
Mr Stevens revealed Daniela’s dream was to make real change in the judicial system.
“Daniela and I would speak for hours each night talking about how she wanted to fight for justice and prosecute criminals,” he said.
“She spoke of wanting to investigate the minds of criminals, to understand all the life events that lead up to the crimes they committed.”
He said his partner was a bright, joyful and strong woman.
“Daniela won’t stop here, she will come back stronger and still fight for the lives of those in need!” he wrote.
“Daniela’s family, friends, co-workers and myself love Daniela Vergulis with all our heart, and she will need a little more support to help her now, so she can help others later in her life!”
In his emotional post, Mr Stevens also paid tribute to Aleksandra.
“Aleksandra, bless her heart and soul, who is no longer with us, supported and deeply loved her daughter through thick and thin,” he wrote.
“They were truly inseparable to one another.”
Friends of the woman shot alongside her mother in a callous act of a violence, have shared message of support, as her boyfriend revealed her aspirations “to fight for justice and prosecute criminals”.
A friend of Daniela Vergulis, 22, Carrie Dickeson, posted on social media on Monday:
“My heart is with you both,” Ms Dickeson wrote.
Ms Dickeson asked the public to “help (their) friend Corey Stevens support his beautiful girlfriend Dana throughout her road to recovery”.
“If you are not in a position to financially contribute, a share to reach others who may be able to, is appreciated.”
The GoFundMe page had already raised $1,895 of a $20,000 target by 9.30am on Tuesday.
Mr Stevens said all the donations would go towards Daniela’s extensive medical, psychological, and wellbeing expenses.
A man, who is aged in his 50s, appeared in the Magistrates Court on Monday charged with murdering Aleksandra and attempting to murder Daniela.
A police prosecutor asked for the man’s name and image to be temporarily suppressed as witnesses were still being interviewed and the identity of the man would play an important part of the ongoing investigation.
Magistrate Michael Fotheringham made the order which will be reviewed at the next court hearing.
The man was arrested after a four-hour siege in Campbelltown on Saturday afternoon.
The man is accused of shooting the two women and then holing himself up in the house with multiple firearms.
