A teenager has been charged with rape and theft after a horrific attack on a woman in the southern suburbs.
A woman had left the Noarlunga Centre railway station around 12.10am on Sunday December 17 when a man began following her, police will allege.
Around 15 minutes later when she was walking in Noarlunga Downs the man raped her and stole her personal belongings.
After an investigation, detectives from the Special Crimes Investigation Section arrested a 19-year-old man from the southern suburbs and charged him with rape and theft.
The man was refused bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on December 27.
