A man with suspected links to the state’s bikie underworld is no longer accused of using the internet to groom a child for sexual exploitation, with police dropping all charges.
Adelaide Magistrates Court records show that, late last month, SA Police formally withdrew its case against Daniel Lawrence Harold Walsh.
Mr Walsh, 37, of West Croydon, had been charged with communicating to make a child amenable to sexual activity and was yet to enter a plea.
Details of the case against him, launched after an arrest by SA’s Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET), were never aired in court.
Court records show Mr Walsh’s remand into custody was cancelled and he was released.
