A man with suspected links to the state’s bikie underworld has faced court accused of using the internet to groom a child for sexual exploitation.
In October 2022, SA Police dropped all charges against Daniel Lawrence Harold Walsh. Read that story here.
Daniel Lawrence Harold Walsh faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Thursday, one day after his arrest by the state’s elite Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET).
Mr Walsh, 37, of West Croydon, has been charged with communicating to make a child amenable to sexual activity. He is yet to enter a plea.
During the brief hearing, his defence lawyer asked the court order a home detention bail inquiry report, which was not opposed by prosecutors.
SA Police and the Australian Federal Police will further allege Mr Walsh has known ties to one of the state’s outlaw motorcycle gangs.
He returns to court next week.
