A man and two women have been arrested over stabbing in Sefton Park car park attack

Two women and another man have been charged with attempted murder after a 21-year-old woman was stabbed and forced into a car in front of horrified witnesses at a major shopping centre.

Further arrests have been made in relation to the horrific domestic violence attack at Sefton Park on Tuesday.

Police rushed to Sefton Plaza on Main North Rd after witnesses reported a woman had been stabbed and forced into a red Holden Cruze by a group of people just before 8am.

The victim was found at a Blair Athol address with stab wounds to the abdomen and taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police arrested a 28-year-old from Blair Athol on Tuesday night. He was charged with attempted murder and unlawful detention. He did not apply for bail and appeared in Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday.

Two women, aged 55 and 28, from Blair Athol were arrested on Wednesday morning and charged with attempted murder and unlawful detention. Both women were refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court in December.

Not long after the incident, two men, aged 56 and 30, both from Blair Athol, were arrested and charged with attempted murder and unlawful detention.

Western District detectives and crime scene investigators have attended both the home and carpark to investigate.

Police say the incident was not random and the people involved are known to each other.

The two men were refused police bail and are expected to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court in December.

Investigators are seeking dashcam footage of this incident and ask any witnesses to come forward.

It follows an early morning attack where a rideshare driver had to be taken to hospital after he was allegedly hit on the head with a bottle by a passenger in a violent robbery at Hillcrest.

Police patrolling the Holden Hill area were flagged down by the victim on North East Rd about 1.30am on November 30.

He told officers of the assault, and that his wallet had been stolen from the console of his car before the passenger ran off.

The robbery occurred on Blacks Rd at Hillcrest and it is understood the driver had pulled over when the incident took place.

Patrols searched the area and located the suspect on North East Rd at Gillies Plains, near the police station.

The Windsor Gardens man, 25, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

He was refused bail to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday,

The victim was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment of a head injury.

The stolen wallet is yet to be located, and police are asking anyone with information on its location to contact them on 131 444.
