A crop of fifteen large cannabis plants – along with a significant amount of dried cannabis and drug paraphernalia – has been seized in the Riverland this week.
On Friday, March 15, Loxton police searched a property on Colin Street in the town about 240km east of Adelaide.
Police said the plants were found in five separate areas of the house.
Police said dried cannabis and drug paraphernalia was found hidden in a workshop area inside the home.
A 59-year-old man, believed to be a resident of the house, was reported and has been summonsed to appear in court.
He has been reported for cultivating cannabis for sale, possessing prescribed equipment and trafficking cannabis in large, commercial quantities.
He is due to appear in Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
