Police searching for Star Wars, Marvel memorabilia stolen from a Port Augusta storage unit

A collection of rare Star Wars, Marvel and DC memorabilia worth about $20,000 has been stolen from an SA storage unit.

A pop-culture collection worth thousands of dollars was stolen from a property at a regional town, with police now hoping to return the iconic goods back to the owner.

Police said a storage facility at Port Augusta West was broken into sometime between July and September.

The owner later discovered that more than $20,000 worth of pop-culture collectables had been stolen.

The missing collectables include iconic Star Wars, Marvel and DC Universes memorabilia.

Other items of value were nabbed such as a decorative swords, gypsum sculptures and Hot Wheels scale models.
