Police are hunting for two men who fled the scene after a car smashed into a business and left a trail of destruction before crashing into a home.
Emergency services were called to Main Rd at Blackwood about 1.45am on Thursday after reports that a Volkswagen sedan had crashed into several buildings and a block of units.
The vehicle smashed the front window of Adelaide Art Therapy – a counselling and psychotherapy studio opposite Blackwood Plaza – before it sideswiped a car, smashed through a garden and came to a stop when it hit a unit.
Police say the male driver and a male passenger fled the scene, leaving a female passenger in the vehicle.
Patrols searched the area with the help of Police Dog Enzo but there was no sign of the two men.
Nearby residents told The Advertiser they heard a loud bang in the middle of the night and were confronted with the trail of destruction.
It is understood the residents of the unit are unhurt and are staying with family.
The female passenger, a 23-year-old Christies Beach woman was not injured, but later arrested and charged with disorderly behaviour and hindering police.
She was bailed to appear in court at a later date.
