Police hunting for three people who broke into Dear Daisy Cafe in Forestville

A manhunt is underway for three suspects who broke into a popular southwestern cafe in the early hours of Friday morning.

Police are searching for three suspects who broke into a popular southwestern cafe on Friday morning.

Just after 4am on Friday, police rushed to Dear Daisy on Leah St, Forestville after three people were seen forcing their way into the small business.

Police say the suspects stole a cash drawer before fleeing the scene in a small white car.

Patrols attempted to search the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them.

Police are urging anyone who might have seen or heard any suspicious behaviour in the area – or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage – that could help the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
