Police searching for two suspects who smashed a Warradale pharmacy with an axe
Two people remain at large after they broke into a pharmacy with an axe, escaping with several hundred dollars worth of painkillers.

An axe-wielding pair is on the run after they broke into a Warrandale pharmacy on Friday morning.
Police were called to Diagonal Rd after receiving reports of an alarm going off just before 4am at Dunrobin Road Pharmacy.
When southern patrols arrived at the scene they found damage to the front door.
After inspecting the CCTV, police learnt two people had smashed the premises with an axe.
The area was searched soon afterwards but the suspects had already fled, and remain at large.
Police Crime Scene Investigators have gone to the scene to search for any forensic evidence.
A pharmacy worker told The Advertiser that an “armful” of pain medication boxes – worth between $400 to $500 – were stolen.
The worker said: “It was obvious they knew what they wanted, they went straight for the codeine packages and took off straight after that. They didn’t even touch the till.”
It comes just a day after bungling masked robbers smashed their way into a Walkerville jewellery store, fleeing empty-handed.
