Pedestrian killed by car at OB Flat while another hit at Christie Downs
A 37-year-old man has died after he was hit by a car in the state’s South East. It’s the second pedestrian death in SA this week.

A pedestrian has been killed in a crash near Mt Gambier.
The car hit the victim on Glenelg River Rd near Yahl Hall Rd at OB Flat, about 10km from Mt Gambier, just before 6pm Thursday.
The victim, a man from the South East, 37, died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators attended the scene.
Glenelg River Rd was closed to all traffic after the crash between Whitehead Rd/Yahl Hall Rd and Square Mile Rd but reopened about 8am Friday.
The man’s death is the 35th life lost on South Australian roads compared to 47 at the same time last year.
In a separate incident another pedestrian has been hit by a car at Christie Downs.
At around 8pm Thursday, the pedestrian was hit on Flaxmill Rd.
It follows a fatal crash at Salisbury East this week, where a pedestrian, 81, and her dog were killed.
The crash happened on The Grove Way on Monday evening.
